Bharathi’s Story: Strength, Struggles, and Support

One Outlaw member finds Strength through community

🧠 Who She Is: Driven by Purpose

Bharathi is a Fraud Risk Advisor at one of Canada’s major banks—a job that’s fast-paced, high-impact, and constantly evolving. She thrives on challenge and growth. That same mindset shaped her approach to fitness long before she walked through Outlaw’s doors.

🏋️‍♀️ Before Outlaw: Fit, Focused… Then Life Shifted

Back in the U.S., Bharathi was consistent with group workouts like strength training, Zumba, yoga, and more. “I loved the synergy. I used to work out at least three times a week and saw great physical and mental results.”

But pregnancy changed everything. “I stayed active during my pregnancy, but postpartum recovery was tough—physically and mentally. I didn’t feel like myself anymore.”

Her turning point came thanks to her husband, who introduced her to Outlaw’s D&D program. “A workout class where you can bring your baby? That was like WOW.” While scheduling conflicts meant she couldn’t attend that program, the spark was lit.

🔁 Starting Again: Facing Doubts, Finding Support

Walking into Outlaw for the first time, Bharathi was uncertain. “I had my doubts if it was right for me. But I decided to give it a shot.”

That decision changed everything. The onramp sessions helped ease her back into movement, and the coaches met her where she was, not where she thought she should be. “They scaled everything to fit my postpartum recovery.”

She learned about Outlaw’s workout levels—Performance, Fitness, Health—which allowed her to focus on her own growth rather than comparing herself to others. That clarity shifted her mindset entirely.

🌟 Breakthrough Moments: Progress, Not Perfection

Wins started adding up. “Coach Lacey helped me get back into jump rope and box jumps—she even sent me a postcard to celebrate it. And Coach Andrea encouraged me to embrace running, which I used to avoid.”

Slowly but surely, Bharathi began to feel strong again. “Now, I don’t shy away from anything.”

And she found something else: connection. “I’ve made new friends. They make this journey even more enjoyable.”

🔥 What’s Changed: Strength Inside and Out

“Since joining, I feel stronger, more energized, and mentally grounded,” Bharathi says. She’s not just lifting heavier or moving faster—she’s sleeping better, eating more mindfully, and showing up with a “can do, will do” mindset in every part of life.

Her physical pain has decreased, her mobility has improved, and her confidence? It’s through the roof.

💬 Final Words of Wisdom

“If you’re feeling unsure, intimidated, or stuck—just start. You don’t need to be at your best to begin. Outlaw meets you where you are.”

For Bhar, that first hesitant step led to more than fitness. It led to community, self-trust, and a full-circle transformation.
