“From Lone Workouts to Lifelong Friendships”
I first stepped into Outlaw in early 2019 for a nutrition coaching session with Lacey. By June or July of that year, I was all in.
Before Outlaw, my training was… efficient, but isolating. I’d hit Fit4Less at 4am before commuting to Etobicoke for work. Headphones in. Workout done. No connection, no community.
Growing up in England, I played on multiple soccer teams. I missed the camaraderie, the banter, the shared grind. That’s what I didn’t know I was craving—until I found it again at Outlaw.
“The Discipline Was There, But Something Was Missing”
Showing up has never been my problem. Discipline? I’ve got that. But training alone at odd hours felt empty.
Outlaw brought back that feeling of being part of something bigger. The community. The laughs. The challenge. I didn’t realize how much I needed that energy again until I was surrounded by it.
“Intimidated at First, Hooked for Life”
My first time in the gym, I saw people crushing a workout—rope climbs, heavy barbell. I remember thinking, “There’s no way I could do that.” And maybe I was right- in that moment. But I could learn.
Then COVID hit. But I stayed committed. 6am Zoom workouts with minimal equipment—and somehow, they were still fun. Even over a screen, the connection and encouragement were real. That was the moment I knew: this place is different.
What I’m most proud of? It’s not one big milestone. It’s the fact that six years later, I’m still hungry. I still want to grow, improve, push. I never want to settle. I don’t compare myself to others—I compare myself to me six months ago. And I love seeing that progress.

“A Stronger Body, A Sharper Mind, and a Community That Shows Up”
Physically, I’ve seen real change—down 7% body fat and up 4.5lbs of muscle just this year. I feel stronger, more confident, and ready to take on 39.
But what matters even more? The community. Outlaw introduced me to people I now consider lifelong friends. My circle is small, but the people I’ve met here are solidly in it. They’ve made this journey meaningful, full of laughs, encouragement, and shared grit.
And now, as a dad to a nearly 3-year-old, I want to be the kind of man he’s proud to look up to.
“It’s Been 6 Years—And I’m Just Getting Started”
Looking back, I’ve hit milestones I never imagined—half marathons, new PRs, movements I didn’t think I could do. I even got to go watch the CrossFit Games in 2022.
But it’s more than that. Outlaw isn’t just a place to get fitter. It’s a place where you grow—mentally, emotionally, socially. It’s where I found people who pushed me, laughed with me, supported me.
So if you’re on the fence, take the leap. You’ll gain more than just strength—you’ll gain a community, and maybe even a few lifelong friends.
